  <p>At Sønderballe Strand Camping, you get a cosy and down-to-earth base by Genner Bay, where many pitches are arranged on terraces with views of the bay or Hopsø. Here you will find pitches for every preference – in sun or shade, more secluded or close to the playground, surrounded by hedges or completely open. The campsite is certified with the EU Ecolabel (the EU Flower), with a focus on waste sorting, environmentally friendly cleaning products and “wild by nature” areas.</p><p>During the day, it is an obvious choice to visit the small, child-friendly beach with Blue Flag by the bay. On the campsite there are two playgrounds – one brand new from 2025 with a climbing tower and a Tarzan course, and the other with swings, a slide and a jumping pillow. There are two service buildings with good shower and toilet facilities, including accessible rooms, family bathrooms, kitchens and a laundry room. You can also make use of the common rooms, a “take a book, leave a book” shelf and a room for older children.</p><p>The surrounding area invites you to go cycling, hiking and fishing by Genner Bay, and you can also rent a canoe and experience the bay from the water – for example on a trip towards Kalvø. Here you will find the setting for a peaceful holiday for both families with children and those who simply want to enjoy nature, the view and the Southern Jutland atmosphere by the water.</p>

  <p>A pitch with sea view at Sønderballe Strand Camping is for those who enjoy waking up to the calm of Genner Bay and following the changing light over the water throughout the day. Here you stay in the middle of the Southern Jutland nature with views of the bay from most pitches and with the special atmosphere that only the coast and open landscapes can provide. The campsite is peacefully located with only one road between the campsite and the child-friendly beach, making it easy to reach the water.</p><p>The sea view pitches are suitable for both tents and caravans. They are located close to the service buildings and the playground, making everyday life on holiday simple and convenient. Here you can choose pitches that are more open or pitches that are more sheltered. Regardless of your choice, nature and the view are an important part of the experience.</p><p>The campsite has two service buildings with toilet and shower facilities, family rooms and accessible facilities, as well as kitchen facilities and a laundry room. There are two playgrounds on the site, giving children good opportunities to meet new holiday friends, while adults can relax by the caravan or tent. The campsite is certified with the EU Ecolabel and works actively with sustainable initiatives in daily operations.</p><p>Sønderballe Strand Camping is located in scenic surroundings between Aabenraa and Haderslev, providing good opportunities for excursions to both towns.   <p>With a motorhome pitch at Sønderballe Strand Camping, you have the freedom to drive when it suits you – and stay a little longer when the view over Genner Bay makes you pull the handbrake for a while. Here it is easy and straightforward to be a motorhome guest, whether you are planning a short stop or a few peaceful days by the water.</p><p>The motorhome pitches are open all year and offer views of the bay as well as close proximity to both forest and the Blue Flag beach. The pitches in front of the barrier cover the basic needs with the option of electricity at the pitch as well as facilities for emptying and refilling water. You can check in around the clock via self-service and online booking, and it is also possible to check in at the reception until 21:00. This gives you the flexibility to arrive late and continue your journey early if the urge to travel calls.</p><p>As a guest, you have access to the campsite’s facilities with two service buildings with toilets and showers, including family rooms, as well as kitchen facilities. Free WiFi is available on the site. At the reception you will find a staffed information point during the high season, where you can get inspiration for the next part of your journey, and in the kiosk you can order fresh bread in season and buy the most essential items.</p><p>The campsite is located in scenic surroundings between Aabenraa and Haderslev, making it easy to combine your stay with experiences in the local area. There are good opportunities for hiking, including the Spis Sønderballe routes and around Kalvø.</p><p>Here you get the best of two worlds: the freedom of travelling on four wheels and the tranquillity by the water. The caravan contains a french bed, a seating area and 3 bunks (max. 70 kg) Kitchen with all you need Duvets and pillows for 5 persons The awning contains a dining area for 5 persons and an extra fridge Solid wood flooring in all awnings Seating area outside and a barbeque The caravans are perfectly located in relation to toilet facilities and playground.</p>
