Stayed for 4 nights.You have your own water tap and litter bin.Toilets are clean,hot water and decent toilet paper .The site needs some TLC but they are working hard.Restaurant basic but cheap,good value.2 euros into Lisborn by Bus.If you are visiting Lisborn in the low season I recommend this site.

I’m a bit cross with ACSI because it was not listed that you could get discount on their app with this campsite, resulting in me totally missing out on a cheaper stay! The campsite is really lovely, lots of trees and situated in the green lung of Lisbon. The staff are not very helpful and some of the ones staying on site can be pretty intimidating (you say Ola or Bom dia and they just glare at you). The bathrooms need a refit but there is plenty of high pressures hot water and the facilities are nicely designed. It would be nice to have a choice of pitches for campervans as we were allocated a solid concrete pitch with no way to attach our awning. Luckily someone had taken our allocated pitch so we were able to move somewhere more suitable. There are bus loads of school children here so if you’re looking for a place to stay away from hoards of rude children, this probably isn’t your spot. The shop is poorly stocked, consisting of wilting veggies and nothing for breakfast (no eggs etc). The restaurant staff are friendly and helpful and the location is ideal if you want to go into the city. Super dog friendly which is a bonus for us.

Had read mixed reviews of this campsite so we’ve been very pleasantly surprised during our visit. We paid for 3 nights and received a 10% ACSI discount. On the second morning, we had a voucher on our windscreen offering us a free 5th night if we booked and paid for a 4th night. Not bad at all for the location - there is a bus into the city centre (714) just 200m from the campsite. It takes about 50 minutes. They run every 20 minutes. We went into the city 3 times and had no problems with the buses, though we did buy a 48 hr ‘hop on hop off’ ticket and caught that into the city from one of the intersections on the second day as it was quicker! The campsite itself is huge and the plots are well spaced out giving privacy. Not much space for an awning but lots of shade anyway. Yes, there is noise from the motorways but it didn’t keep us awake. The toilet block near us, E83, was fine - toilet seats and paper provided and very clean with loads of hot water for showers and washing up. The mini market is indeed a mini market with limited choice but the bread rolls are very nice! The laundry is good. Overall, this is a good campsite, not overcrowded and very safe.

A perfect position for convenience into Lisbon both by Uber taxi and nearby regular bus service. Exceptionally large pitches with shade from trees. Costly but a price for convenience and excellent security at the gates. There is suspicion that items will be stolen and on our visit it was noticeable that no one left chairs or tables outside their motorhomes for fear of theft. Such an attitude may however be unjustifiable. The shower/toilet blocks are very tired but functional. The swimming pool is absolutely superb although its surrounds are now starting to look neglected. The major downside of this site is the appalling attitude from the reception staff who need teaching the fundamentals of how to deliver customer service. All other staff on the site including the security men and restaurant personnel were of a different ilk and most pleasant. All in all this is a good site to stay for a few days and particularly for visiting Lisbon.

Large, busy site with easy access from the motorway. The downside of that is proximity to the motorway means some road noise - probably quieter at the rear of the site. We were allocated a hard standing with electric, water and grey water drainage on the pitch plus picnic bench. There are several sanitation blocks, all adequate but a bit tired. Restaurant and bar on site both providing good value. Wifi hot spot works fine. As others have commented, it’s an expensive site exploiting its location close to Lisbon. However, the security is very good. It seems every other Brit we met on this trip had either been broken into on aires or knew somebody who had, so we were happy to pay a premium for the peace of mind. There’s a large swimming pool which looks good, but was closed when we visited in mid May. Plenty of shade available and pitches are not crowded like some popular sites. Frequent bus service into Lisbon is convenient and cheap.
All-in-all I was happy with this site, and would recommend it for a couple of days stopover. 10% discount given for ACSI card, 5 nights for the price of 4.

OK location for visiting Lisbon as bus stop a 5/10 minute walk from site. Pitches were good size and facilities ok. Expensive but show your ACSI card for 10% discount. However, there is some kind of restaurant to the left of the site which played music so loud that the bass went right through you. This went on until midnight on a Thursday and Friday night. My advice is to park as far to the right as you can when you enter the site.
Didn’t use the swimming pool.

Good location for bus to Lisbon, 10% discount with Acsi. the pitches are good size, the toilet/ shower facilities where shabby with no hot water and having to queue, although it was really busy.

Have stayed in many campgrounds during our 6 weeks in Spain/Portugal and of all the ones we stayed in, this one is the worst. Of course they have a monopoly because if you want to see Lisbon, no other campground close to the city. Unfortunately we have to put up with it for three more nights.

Fifties time-warp. This infrastructure and buildings were all of an age and the facilities showed this. We were allocated the only available pitch which was far from all facilities and very noisy with the traffic from two main roads. The sanitary blocks were basic - outside sinks and thunderous flushing loos. Access to Lisbon by bus is a main feature of the site but with our dog not practical for us - but for others that may be a good reason to camp here. Plus point the self service cafeteria was cheap and cheerful. OK for an overnighter - just!
